Corinthians make enquiry for Novorizontino defender Dantas | OneFootball

Corinthians have made an enquiry about signing 21-year-old centre-back Dantas from Novorizontino, finalists in the Campeonato Paulista.

According to Globo.com, Novorizontino want $3 million, about R$ 15.5 million, to release the player, and had yet to comment at the time of publication.

A regular starter, Dantas has also attracted interest from other Brazilian and European clubs.

Last year he made 36 appearances for Novorizontino, scoring two goals. He has played nine times this season across the Copa do Brasil and Paulistão.

Dorival Júnior currently has four centre-back options, Gustavo Henrique, Gabriel Paulista, André Ramalho and João Pedro Tchoca.

Corinthians have already announced six signings for 2026, Gabriel Paulista, midfielders Matheus Pereira, Allan and Zakaria Labyad, right-back Pedro Milans and forward Kaio César. They have also renewed Fabrizio Angileri's contract.

Goalkeeper João Ricardo and attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard are also expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
