Corinthians will hold a General Assembly on 20th to vote on statute reforms via an 11-question printed ballot. The outcome could overturn the Deliberative Council (CD) decision of 29 April and rule on 10 separate highlights.
According to Meu Timao, the vote runs from 9.00 to 17.00 at Parque São Jorge using printed ballots. Eligible voters are members aged over 18 with at least five years’ membership and dues paid, plus, by court injunction, compliant members who joined by 8 May without five years.
Question 1 seeks overall approval of the base text. Approval annuls the CD decision, rejection keeps the current statute and appends any approved highlights.
Question 2 considers granting voting rights to the Associado de Futebol (Fiel Torcedor) only for the board election and without social-club access. Question 3 addresses the CD’s size, cutting to 150 elected and 50 lifetime, or retaining 200 elected and 100 lifetime. Question 4 weighs switching the CD election to an individual system or keeping slates.
Question 5 reduces the voting qualifying period to three years or keeps five. Question 6 introduces two rounds for the board election or preserves a single round. Question 7 moves election of all 11 Ethics Council members to the Assembly or leaves it solely with the CD.
Question 8 enforces administrative independence for the CD or maintains financial dependence on management. Question 9 limits natural seats on the Conselho de Orientação (Cori) to the last five CD and club presidents or retains automatic inclusion of all ex-presidents. Question 10 sets financial statements as quarterly or keeps them monthly.
Question 11 is a transition rule for vacancies before the 2026 election. Approval allows current president Osmar Stabile to run for re-election, rejection bars his candidacy.
