Corinthians prepare to face Ceará after Bragança Paulista loss

On the morning of Thursday (6), Corinthians returned to training at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava and began preparations for their next commitment in the Brazilian Championship. On Sunday (9), at 4:00 pm, Timão will host Ceará at the Neo Química Arena, in a match valid for the 33rd round of the national competition.

The black-and-white delegation returned from Bragança Paulista on Wednesday night (5), right after the defeat to Red Bull Bragantino, and remained in concentration at the Gildásio Miranda Hotel, located within the training center. The team is looking to bounce back after the setback and end their winless streak in the competition.

The players who played more than 45 minutes performed recovery activities, while the rest of the squad went through a physical activation in the gym, followed by warm-up and technical training on a reduced field. Under the guidance of Dorival Júnior, the group began tactical work already focused on the clash against the team from Ceará.

The Corinthians squad will still have two more training sessions before the match, with the next one scheduled for Friday morning (7), at the training center itself. In the first-round match, held at Arena Castelão, Corinthians came out on top and beat Ceará 1-0, with a goal by Talles Magno.
