Corinthians share almost half of Copa do Brasil prize with team, staff

Corinthians distributed a significant portion of the prize money won from the 2025 Copa do Brasil title among players, the technical staff, and club employees. The amount distributed is around R$ 35 million.

Initially, the team's expectation was to receive about 30% of the total earnings from the competition. However, the final division was close to half of the amount received by the club, which earned R$ 77 million just for winning the title. This information comes from ge.globo.

The negotiation was conducted in a meeting between athletes and the board, as reported by goalkeeper Hugo Souza the day after the decision. According to the player, the amount presented by the board exceeded what the group initially imagined, which generated a positive surprise among those present.

Midfielder Raniele also commented on the celebratory atmosphere after the agreement, highlighting that the celebration involved both players and executives. Additionally, he emphasized that the prize distribution was not limited to the team.

The inclusion of employees in the sharing came from an internal initiative led by defender André Ramalho. The proposal was to ensure that collaborators from different sectors of the club also benefited from the prize money.

Corinthians' Prize in the 2025 Copa do Brasil

Corinthians accumulated nearly R$ 98 million in prizes throughout the campaign for the 2025 Copa do Brasil title. The club received R$ 2,315,250.00 for participating in the third phase, in addition to R$ 3,638,250.00 in the round of 16. In the quarterfinals, the amount earned was R$ 4,740,750.00, while qualifying for the final brought in another R$ 9,922,500.00. By winning the title, Timão pocketed R$ 77,175,000.00, totaling R$ 97,791,175.00 in prizes throughout the competition.
