Corinthians sign Praia Clube top scorer Fabinho to bolster futsal squad for 2026 | OneFootball

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians have signed 37-year-old pivot Fabinho from Praia Clube to reinforce their futsal team for 2026. He is already training at Parque São Jorge.

Fabinho finished 2025 as Praia Clube’s top scorer, hitting 25 goals in 40 appearances. In 2024 he scored 23 times across 47 matches.

The move addresses a shortage of pivots. After Deives retired and Israel Neto departed, Rick was the only specialist remaining in Fernando Malafaia’s squad.

It is the club’s first futsal addition of the season. Seven players have left, Marlon, Edimar, Igor Carioca, Luisinho, Luiz Brizzi, Israel Neto and Deives. Academy trio Iván Monteros, Andrey and Yann also exited Parque São Jorge.

In January the team toured Japan, losing 3-0 to Nagoya Oceans and drawing 2-2 with the F-League All-Stars. They are expected to return to action in early March at the Super Copa Gramado.
