Corinthians train at Emirates Stadium before Club World Cup final

Corinthians took another step in their preparation for the final of the Copa das Campeãs. The Alvinegra delegation carried out, this Friday (30), a pitch inspection at the Emirates Stadium in London, the venue for the final against Arsenal, scheduled for this Sunday (01), at 3pm (Brasília time).

In content shared on the club’s social media, it was possible to follow the coaching staff and players on the field of the English stadium. During the activity, players from the squad also posed for photos next to the competition trophy and spoke to the press present at the location.

Among the athletes who took part in the interviews were Duda Sampaio, Erika, and Ana Vitória. In a statement, Duda highlighted the importance of the moment the team is experiencing and the opportunity to play an international final in one of the most famous stadiums in European football.

Also on Friday morning (30), the Brabas held their penultimate training session before the final. Since arriving in England, the training sessions have been taking place at the facilities of Barnet FC, a team that plays in the fourth national division. The activity even included the presence of Gabi Nunes, former Corinthians striker, who visited the delegation during their preparations.

Corinthians secured their spot in the final after beating Gotham FC 1-0 last Wednesday (28) at the Gtech Community Stadium in London. The winning goal was scored by Gabi Zanotti. On the other side, Arsenal booked their place in the final by defeating ASFAR from Morocco 6-0 at the same stadium in the afternoon.
