Palmeiras continued their mid-season programme on Saturday morning, and academy graduate Coutinho lit up a full-pitch training game with a bicycle-kick goal.

According to Globo.com, the session at the Academia de Futebol comprised a single 11-a-side scrimmage lasting 45 minutes. Academy youngsters again formed the support group to complete the work.

The squad ate lunch at the training ground and were then released. Unlike Thursday and Friday, there was no double session.

Vitor Roque carried out mobility exercises indoors before heading to the pitch with staff from the Health and Performance unit. The striker has not yet begun his physical transition.

Head coach Abel Ferreira has not yet returned, so the remaining coaching staff led the work. Marlon Freitas was also absent, excused to deal with personal matters.

Palmeiras are also without seven players away at the World Cup. Emiliano Martínez and Piquerez, eliminated with Uruguay, are expected back soon, and Giay is another due early this week.
