Anticipation is growing to see Tony D’Amico officially become Roma’s new sporting director.
The 46-year-old executive was chosen by Gian Piero Gasperini and the Friedkins to replace Frederic Massara and has already been announced by Atalanta.
Before seeing him in action with the Giallorossi, however, the Pescara native must negotiate a contract termination with the Bergamo club.
According to Sportitalia, this is currently taking place in Bergamo.
Only after reaching an agreement with Atalanta will D’Amico finally be able to settle in at Trigoria.
He is expected to arrive in the capital early next week, and Roma will officially confirm his signing.
