Genoa is increasingly close to appointing Daniele De Rossi as their new coach.
Following the dismissal of Patrick Vieira following a disappointing start to the season, the Rossoblu management is intensifying contact with the former Roma midfielder.

The club’s position in the league table is worrying: only three points in ten games and last place in Serie A. This has forced the club to change management in an attempt to reverse a seemingly compromised situation.
The proposed contract would expire in June, with an automatic renewal if they remain in the top flight.
Contact between the parties has intensified in recent hours, and according to Gianluca Di Marzio, the former Roma captain is the leading candidate, ahead of other candidates being evaluated in parallel.
