Derek Mazou-Sacko struck in the third minute with a left-footed drive from outside the box as Millwall beat Queens Park Rangers 2-0. The midfielder later supplied the second to put the game out of reach.
His opener came from a second phase corner, the 21-year-old collecting the loose ball and steering it into the bottom left from range to set the tone at the Den.
Moments later, he threaded a pass for Camiel Neghli to finish across goal (17.). He then flicked on for Femi Azeez, whose effort was blocked as the hosts kept pressing (26.).
Mazou-Sacko finished with one goal, one assist and two key passes, plus three tackles and four recoveries. He also completed 26 of 35 passes, blending incision with industry in midfield.
With Millwall's set piece pressure and his movement between the lines, the Lions consistently unsettled Queens Park Rangers and controlled the game's key phases.
The result lifts the Lions to second in the Championship. They visit Stoke City next, while Queens Park Rangers host Swansea City.
