Dhanda converts VAR penalty as Dundee claim fourth home win

Dundee beat Falkirk 1-0 at Dens Park to claim their fourth home win of the Scottish Premiership season.

Yan Dhanda converted from the spot in the fifth minute of first half stoppage time after Finn Yeats was penalised for handball. VAR confirmed the spot kick.

After the restart, The Bairns pushed for a leveller but Dundee's back line stood up to repeated deliveries and second balls.

Substitute Simon Murray was sent off (87.), forcing the hosts to finish with 10 men.

The Bairns registered 23 attempts and nine corners but forced only one save. Dundee produced four shots on target from 10 attempts and made 47 clearances.
