There’s a lot going on at FC Bayern right now regarding plans for the new season. Numerous discussions are currently underway regarding both incoming and outgoing players. One somewhat surprising departure is now just a formality. 

The record champions’ young talents, in particular, are currently the focus of attention. Some of them are being linked with a move, including Lovro Zvonarek and Jonathan Asp Jensen.

Another young talent, however, is on the verge of a transfer. That player is Maurice Krattenmacher (20). He was on loan to Hertha BSC last season.

Krattenmacher set to join Elversberg

According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a move by the young attacking player to Bundesliga newcomer Elversberg is imminent. Only the final details remain to be worked out before the deal is officially announced.

During his loan spell at Hertha, the youngster showed great promise and proved he can compete at the highest level. Like Hertha BSC, however, the 20-year-old had a season of ups and downs.

The medical exam could take place as early as today; after that, only the paperwork would need to be signed before the deal is finalized.

No details are known regarding the exact terms. However, it is quite possible that FC Bayern will secure an option to bring the player back, as he undoubtedly possesses talent.

The move to Elversberg, a team known for its attacking style that also relies on young talent, could certainly be a very good decision for the attacking player. Especially since the relegation battle in the Bundesliga has already shaped other promising players. It also did Paul Wanner, who was on loan from Bayern to Heidenheim at the time, a world of good.
