Borussia Dortmund will welcome FC Bayern Munich to the Signal Iduna Park for the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup on August 22 at 20:30 CEST, the German Football League confirmed on Wednesday.
Usually, the Supercup is contested between the Bundesliga champions and the DFB-Pokal winners.

However, since Bayern won both competitions in the 2025/26 season, their opponents will be Bundesliga runners-up Borussia Dortmund.
FC Bayern won the Bundesliga title with a 16-point margin and capped off their season with a 3-0 victory over VfB Stuttgart in the DFB-Pokal final last weekend.
The Bavarians beat VfB Stuttgart 2-1 in last year’s Supercup at the MHPArena.
