Endrick hat-trick fires Lyon as winning run hits four | OneFootball

Lyon beat Metz 5-2 at Stade Saint-Symphorien to extend their Ligue 1 winning run to four and remain fourth.

Endrick struck in the 11th minute from close range after Corentin Tolisso's pass. Ruben Kluivert doubled the lead from a corner (16.), before Tyler Morton rifled in from distance (32.) and Koffi Kouao pulled one back (34.).

Endrick restored the cushion in the first minute of first half stoppage time from Morton's break. After the restart, Habib Diallo glanced in Kouao's cross (64.) to give Metz hope.

Late on, Endrick drew a foul from Giorgi Abuashvili in the box. He converted the penalty (87.).

Jonathan Fischer made five saves, yet Les Gones' finishing proved decisive. Lyon were clinical, registering 10 shots on target from 13 attempts. Metz had 53.2% possession and 15 attempts but struggled to contain transitions.

Metz stay 18th. They visit Angers next, while Lyon host PAOK in the Europa League.
