According to Le Progres, Lyon’s lack of cutting edge made their Europa League last-16 trip to Celta more complicated, though debutant Steeve Kango stood out.
Making his first senior appearance in a European round of 16 away from home was no gift, yet Kango played with nerve. He picked up a foul in his first duel but kept going.

The youngster surged down his flank and sent in several crosses, even if the final ball did not always land where intended.
On 73 minutes he rattled the post with a strike that could have brought the score to 1-1.
Later came a late goal from Endrick, aided inadvertently by the opposing goalkeeper.
