Everton and Ligue 1 pair ‘monitoring’ Bayern's Boey

Everton and Ligue 1 duo Marseille and Lyon are monitoring Sacha Boey’s situation at Bayern Munich, Kicker reports.

The French full-back has been linked with a move away from Bavaria several times over the last six months.

All three clubs are said to be keen, although his substantial salary in Munich could prove a stumbling block.

There are also concerns about his fitness and alleged disciplinary issues. Crystal Palace were long viewed as interested, but may have been put off by a rare form of gastroenteritis that has kept him sidelined.

It is uncertain whether Bayern can achieve the hoped-for fee of around €15 million for the 25-year-old. A loan with a subsequent agreement currently seems more plausible. Boey remains under contract until 2028.
