Ewen Jaouen is set to extend his Stade de Reims contract by one year, taking it to June 2029. According to L'Équipe, an agreement in principle is in place and the 20-year-old is expected to sign.
Installed as first-choice last summer after returning from a productive loan at Dunkerque, he has impressed throughout the campaign.
He has kept 15 clean sheets in Ligue 2, leaving him close to Édouard Mendy’s 2017-2018 mark of 18, the season when Reims sealed promotion.
The France Under-21 international’s displays have prompted the club to table the extension.
Even with fresh terms, a summer stay is not guaranteed, as he is being closely monitored abroad.
