Lee Hendrie has told FLW his verdict on QPR's attacking firepower this season
Lee Hendrie believes that QPR have the potential to set the Championship on fire if their attack can start to click in the coming weeks.
The London outfit have added a number of new attacking options to the squad over the summer, including the arrival of strikers Richard Kone and Rumarn Burrell.
Kwame Poku and Koko Saito have also joined and re-signed, with a permanent deal agreed to keep Karamoko Dembele at Loftus Road after his loan stint last season.
Julien Stéphan has been tasked with getting these players to gel, with the club targeting an improvement on their 15th place finish in the league last season.

Hendrie believes that QPR’s frontline was just missing someone that knows how to find the back of the net last season, highlighting the addition of Kone over the summer.
He praised how easy on the eye this side can be, and expects them to become a very dangerous attack if everything can start to click.
“I’ve been really impressed with QPR. I have been since last season when I found that they were almost a nearly team where they were so good to watch on the eye,” Hendrie exclusively told Football League World.
“And obviously, key additions being brought in. I think Kone could be such a big player for them this season.
“I think just having that focal point, having someone who knows where the back of the net is, and the players that are playing behind him who have got individual talent and easily create chances, which they did similar to last season.
“Crazy enough, I think they were just missing someone that could probably stick the ball in the back of the net.
“Once the striker starts doing that, and obviously strength in depth behind, you do feel like everyone might add to the goals and QPR can set the Championship alight this season.”
QPR have scored six goals from their opening four league fixtures, but sit 18th in the table after earning just four points.
Next up for Stéphan’s side will be a trip to face Wrexham on 13th September when the league action returns from the international break.
The 7-1 defeat to Coventry City stands out as a real blemish on QPR’s start to the new season, but they have a squad with a lot of potential.
The follow-up victory the next week against Charlton Athletic suggests that the squad have been able to put that heavy loss to the Sky Blues behind them, which is an encouraging place to be going into the international break.
The additions of Kone and Poku are rather exciting, but they could take a few weeks to gel, particularly with the latter getting injured in his first appearance for the club.
Some patience may be needed at the start of this season, but it’s potentially an exciting time for QPR given the squad at their disposal now.
