FC Porto will celebrate their 31st league title on Saturday, starting at Estádio do Dragão, moving through Ribeira and ending on Avenida dos Aliados, with traffic and parking restrictions running into the early hours of Sunday.

The Porto City Council said in a notice on Thursday that closures and diversions will be in place, overseen by the PSP traffic division and the Municipal Police.

Stopping and parking are banned on Praça do General Humberto Delgado, western bays, from 00:00 on 13 May to 24:00 on 17 May. The square’s south carriageway will be closed from 7:00 on 16 May to 13:00 on 17 May. Rua do Loureiro also has a parking ban on its north side, opposite numbers 124 to 26, from 17:00 on 16 May to 1:00 on 17 May.

Further parking bans apply from 17:00 on 16 May to 1:00 on 17 May on numerous central streets, including Rua de Camões, Rua do Almada, Rua de Alferes Malheiro, Rua de Sá da Bandeira, Rua de 31 de Janeiro, Rua de Passos Manuel, Rua Formosa and selected sections of Avenida dos Aliados.

Road closures over the same window will affect parts of Rua de Camões, Rua de Gonçalo Cristóvão, Rua do Almada, Rua de Ceuta, Rua dos Clérigos and adjoining streets, plus Praça da Trindade, Praça do General Humberto Delgado, Praça da Liberdade, Praça de D. João I, Praça de Almeida Garrett, Santa Catarina between 31 de Janeiro and Passos Manuel, Passos Manuel in full, and approaches to Batalha and Aliados.
