West Ham United have confirmed the news that Shelina Zadorsky, Verena Hanshaw, Camila Sáez, Soraya Walsh and Emily Taylor-Brown will all be leaving the club when their current contracts expire at the end of the month.

The Hammers announced their summer exit list via a post on their official club website this afternoon.

Canadian international defender Zadorsky has been a hugely important player for West Ham United over the last two-and-a-half seasons. She has made 50 appearances for the club in all competitions and has been a leading voice in the dressing room and on the pitch.

Austrian full-back Hanshaw has spent 18 months with the East Londoners in which she has made 33 appearances while Sáez was a summer 2024 arrival and she has appeared 14 times for the club.

Midfielder Walsh joined West Ham United from Charlton Athletic at the start of the 2022/2023 season. She signed her first professional terms with The Hammers in summer 2024. The player has impressed whilst gaining senior experience in loan spells with Billericay Town, Watford, and Hashtag United in recent seasons. Walsh made her senior debut for West Ham United in a Subway Women’s League Cup fixture in December 2024 and has a bright future in the game.

Taylor-Brown has developed within the West Ham United Professional Game Academy side. She will hope to now get the opportunity for regular senior minutes in the game with a new club.

Experienced midfielder Katrina Gorry is also leaving The Chigwell Construction Stadium with her departure having already been announced while star striker Shekiera Martinez agreed a deal to join West Ham United’s Barclays Women’s Super League rivals Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer.
