Flamengo have a last-minute absentee for their Libertadores meeting with Estudiantes, with Léo Pereira left out of the travelling squad.
The club said the centre-back suffered a deep cut to his left shin against Atlético-MG, required stitches at Arena MRV, and is still healing, so he was not selected for the trip to Buenos Aires.
During Sunday’s match he needed treatment off the pitch. At 41 minutes of the second half he was replaced by Vitão.
Leonardo Jardim also has two further absentees. Lucas Paquetá is recovering from oedema in his left thigh, while Erick Pulgar is treating a right shoulder injury. Both are working individually and remain out of group training.
Flamengo lead Group A with six points from two matches, while Estudiantes are second on four. Independiente Medellín have one and Cusco none. The third-round tie is on Wednesday 29 at 21:30 Brasília time at Estádio Jorge Luis Hirschi.
