Flamengo visit Grêmio in Porto Alegre on Sunday at 20:30 Brasília time in the 15th round of the Brasileirão, with Alex Sandro suspended and Carrascal returning to replace Arrascaeta.

Alex Sandro serves a one match ban after his third yellow card in the derby with Vasco. He travelled after the match that did not take place in Colombia, then returned to Rio. According to Globo.com, Leonardo Jardim also remains without Pulgar and Paquetá.

The probable Flamengo XI is Rossi, Varela, Léo Pereira, Léo Ortiz and Ayrton Lucas, Evertton Araújo, Jorginho and Carrascal, Plata, Pedro and Lino.

Arrascaeta is sidelined until the second half of the year with a fractured clavicle.

Pulgar completed part of Tuesday’s session with the group and is working on the pitch with physios and fitness coaches, but he is not available yet. He suffered an acromioclavicular joint injury in his right shoulder and his return has been slower due to pain.

Pulgar is further along in his recovery and should be back before Paquetá. For Paquetá, the plan is to increase training loads this week to reintegrate him, after an oedema in the left thigh tendon against Bahia. Neither will be cleared until they are 100 percent.

Forward Wallace Yan did not travel, a technical decision. He featured on Sunday, coming on late against Vasco, but made little impact.
