Flamengo lead Brazilian TV rights income with R$ 612 million, nearly R$ 100 million more than Palmeiras. According to Coluna Do Fla, the Sports Value study places the Rio club top in the period assessed.
Palmeiras recorded R$ 527 million, with Fluminense on R$ 526 million and Botafogo at R$ 380 million. These were the top four totals.
The first four places were taken by the clubs that played the new Club World Cup, namely Flamengo, Palmeiras, Fluminense and Botafogo. The study also reports that the 20 highest-earning clubs generated R$ 15 billion, a 36% rise on 2024.
Looking to 2026, Flamengo have agreed with fellow Libra members to receive R$ 150 million more than other clubs, reflecting audience share and pay-per-view subscriber numbers.
Palmeiras, angered by the decision, left Libra and are currently outside any TV rights negotiating group, while Grêmio voiced public support for Flamengo. Grêmio face Flamengo on Sunday (10) in Porto Alegre at 19:30 Brasília time, with Premiere broadcasting nationwide.
