We are really into the business end of the season now. The game against Wrexham on Saturday is done, meaning the Blues are into the FA Cup quarter final, the Champions League knockout stages and have just 9 games left in the Premier League.
Liam Rosenior made nine changes for the Wrexham game, but agreed with a journalist who asked if that was probably the last chance for major rotation in the season, given how important every remaining game is.

“Yeah, for sure. You’re making decisions as you go. And I promised the group when I came in that I would make decisions on my time with them.
“I’ve analysed everything before I’ve come. That’s my job. But you learn about your players when you work with them, the detail that you give them, who understands it, who doesn’t. But no, I’ve got some very, very good players. I’ve got a very, very good squad. And we just need to keep working in this way to get to where we want to be.”
So while Rosenior is saying he’s got a good squad, he’s agreeing off the bat that the second string (who were pretty lucky to come away with a win last night) aren’t going to be good enough to get results from this point onwards.
Dario Essugo is keen for more minutes after finally playing following months out injured.
