Joachim Löw, who won the World Cup with Germany in 2014, is said to be close to a return to coaching.

Citing “multiple sources,” Ghanasoccernet.com reports that Löw is close to being appointed Ghana coach on a short-term deal for this summer's World Cup.

The report suggests that the 66-year-old is “on the verge of accepting the role,” with personal terms being finalised.

Löw, who hasn’t coached since leaving his position with Germany in 2021, will reportedly earn around €150,000 per month if he takes the role.

The 66-year-old could replace Otto Addo, who was recently dismissed following a poor run of friendly results.
