Heading for a major restructuring in June, Real Madrid are already weighing up their option for the summer transfer window, both in terms of arrivals and departures.
After going trophy-less for two seasons, the Merengues are keen to make wholesale changes and will oversee some big exits. However, they are also weighing up their options in terms of big signings.
One name that has occasionally popped up in that sense is that of Mohammed Salah, the Liverpool star who is set to leave his club at the end of the season.
Speaking to the media in a recent interview, former Real Madrid captain and player Fernando Hierro was asked about his thoughts on Mohammed Salah possibly moving to Real Madrid.
“Why not? Of course, I would like it. Mohamed Salah is an extraordinary player in every sense.”
“No one can deny his great impact at Liverpool and his achievements. I would love to see him at Real Madrid; everything is possible in football,” he added.

Speaking on what the player can bring to the table for Los Blancos, the ex-player said,
“Salah is the kind of player any club in the world would want to sign because he is exceptional and has a direct impact on the game. He’s not just a great player – he’s a true football phenomenon who makes the difference wherever he is.”
“Imagining him in LaLiga, whether with Real Madrid or Barcelona, would give the competition a huge boost thanks to his quality, experience, and adaptability,” he added.
“In short, Salah is a top player in every sense, and any club in the world would be proud to have him… why not see him at Real Madrid one day? Everything is possible,” Hierro concluded.
He then spoke out in support of Alvaro Arbeloa as the manager of Real Madrid and backed the coach citing the circumstances under which he took over.
“Real Madrid has gone through a difficult period, losing some away matches, so the current circumstances don’t help Arbeloa.”
“However, when you have players like Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and other big stars, they can change the course of matches and the championship,” he added.

Expanding on his statement in Arbeloa’s support, the former Real Madrid captain said,
“I believe there will be very exciting games, especially the match between Real Madrid and Barcelona in the league.”
“No one knows who will win, so it will be a very important game. I fully trust Real Madrid’s players to compete strongly for the title this season,” he added.
Finally, the former Spain NT captain opened up on his loyalty to Real Madrid and how it was always his dream to play for the club.
“When I signed for Real Madrid, it was a dream come true. My greatest ambition was to reach that club, and once I did, I thought of nothing else but playing in that shirt.”
“I never thought about leaving or playing for another club. Real Madrid was my only objective, and I only thought about defending its colors and building my career there,” he added.
