Frédéric Chevit has applied to succeed Nicolas de Tavernost as chief executive of LFP Media, with de Tavernost due to leave his post soon.
According to L'Équipe, the 73-year-old former France Télévisions sports director, who also served as an international coordinator for beIN Sports, has submitted his candidacy to the LFP to lead LFP Media.

He believes the French top flight has regained interest and freshness.
He considers the Ligue 1+ platform a success and wants to help secure its long-term sustainability.
A Ligue 1 college meeting is scheduled for Thursday to set out the recruitment process for the next LFP Media chief executive.
