France U21 manager Gérard Baticle has unveiled his squad list for the September international break. Les Bleuets will host Luxembourg at Lorient, on Friday, September 5, to kickstart their campaign to qualify for the 2027 UEFA U21 Euros, which will be jointly hosted by Albania and Serbia. Les Bleuets will remain in Brittany to play Serbia, at Lorient, on Monday, September 8.

Baticle could only call up players born in 2004 or before, which means former U21 players like Arnaud Kalimuendo, Rayan Cherki and Hugo Ekitike are no longer eligible to play for Baticle’s side. The former Angers SCO manager has called up 23 players, including five Premier League players: Leny Yoro, Lesley Ugochukwu, Eli Junior Kroupi, Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel.
