Galatasaray plotting ambitious move for Antonio Rudiger | OneFootball

Galatasaray are keeping a close eye on Antonio Rudiger’s situation at Real Madrid, according to AS.

Rudiger is in the final few months of his current contract at Santiago Bernabeu, which expires at the end of the season in June.

While both parties have shown an interest in continuing, the possibility of an exit remains.

Galatasaray view Rudiger as a potential defensive reinforcement, capable of complementing Davinson Sanchez, Abdulkerim Bardakci, and Wilfried Singo.

Coach Okan Buruk reportedly values the 32-year-old’s leadership and aerial ability, and is interested in a January move.

Galatasaray lead the Super Lig midway through the campaign, just three points ahead of arch-rivals Fenerbahce as they pursue a fourth consecutive league title.​

Instead, the La Liga giants are said to be interested in Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi, aiming to bolster their defensive options with more Premier League contingent after last summer’s acquisitions of Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
