Germinal have added attacker Gerónimo Núñez and right-back Lautaro Yocco as they assemble their squad for a fourth straight Torneo Federal A campaign.

According to SuperDepor.com, Wednesday’s arrivals build on earlier business and the group of homegrown players who have already confirmed their continuity.

Gerónimo Nahuel Núñez, 30, is a centre-forward with a notable spell at Agropecuario de Carlos Casares, where he featured in the Copa Argentina and faced Boca Juniors.

Yocco, 26, arrives from Sportivo Las Parejas and plays on the right of defence. He previously turned out for Peñarol de San Juan and Argentino de Rosario.

Andrés Iglesias will lead the Verde, and the club could still add up to five more signings from outside, alongside further local reinforcements.

Alongside the new arrivals, confirmed names include Luciano Molini, Alan Moreno, Ignacio Terán, Nicolás Macarof, Guido Morón, Facundo Silva, Jorge Velázquez, Kevin Lencina, Martín Lires, Juan Carlos Silva, Lautaro Veloso, Federico Carcamo and Edwin Santilli.

Germinal could yet add more local options, with Brian Castillo of Racing Club the standout. Other names linked include Rodrigo Ferreyra of J.J. Moreno and Independiente de Trelew pair Martín Rodríguez and defender Yamil Martínez.
