According to L'Équipe, the labour tribunal has ruled against Girondins de Bordeaux in a case brought by two former academy and under-19 coaches.
The coaches, Philippe Lucas and Jean-Luc Dogon, had worked on successive fixed-term contracts for 19 and 13 years respectively. Their deals were not renewed in June 2019, when the club was owned by GACP and King Street.
The Conseil des Prud'hommes reclassified their employment as permanent contracts and ordered the club to pay 300,000 euros in total.
The club can appeal and has not yet done so, as of the latest update.
Bordeaux are now in National 2.
