Our win over Crystal Palace means Pep Guardiola has taken just 358 matches to record 150 Premier League wins when City have scored at least three times.

That means the Catalan has thrashed the previous record, set by Alex Ferguson in 522 matches.

The only other coach to get to 150 such victories is former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who required 524 matches to do so.

In total, Ferguson won 245 of his 810 matches having seen Manchester United score three or more times while Wenger’s Arsenal did the same in 228 of his 828 games.

An Erling Haaland brace plus a fine Phil Foden finish earned the win at Selhurst Park, continuing City’s fine form in the top-flight in recent weeks.

Known for beautiful, passing football, this latest record further demonstrates the attacking philosophy Guardiola has led with at the Etihad Stadium.

It’s also another milestone for the Catalan, just a few weeks after he celebrated his 1000th game in professional management.

The boss also became the quickest coach to 250 Premier League victories in October, needing just 349 matches to hit the landmark.

During his nine and a half seasons in English football, Guardiola has amassed a stunning 821 Premier League points from just 358 outings.

We’ve been the dominant force on these shores in that time, with Liverpool having the next best haul of 767 (if they win at the weekend) points since Guardiola arrived.

City are the highest scorers over that period too, with 86  and a positive goal difference of 556 with Liverpool next on 751 goals and a goal difference of +415.

All this has led to six Premier League titles in his nine full seasons, with only Alex Ferguson ever winning the English top-flight more in all its history.

Congratulations to Pep on another notable landmark!
