Manchester City welcomed Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 17th minute thanks to Erling Haaland’s finish. However, Tyler Adams equalised for the visitors just eight minutes later.

Haaland scored again for Man City in the 33rd minute as the Mancunian giants went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline. Nico O’Reilly put his team 3-1 ahead at the hour mark as Man City cruised to an impressive 3-1 win at the Etihad.

Nunes performed his defensive duties well and made a few impressive runs with the ball.

LB: Nico O’Reilly – 8/10

O’Reilly was a positive influence at both ends of the field and would be quite pleased after scoring in the 60th minute.

CM: Bernardo Silva – 6.5/10

He worked hard defensively but lacked quality in the final third.

CM: Nico Gonzalez – 7/10

Gonzalez anchored the midfield with conviction and made one decent chance going forward.

RW: Rayan Cherki – 8/10

He was a constant menace in the final third and has got a couple of assists to show for his efforts.

CAM: Phil Foden – 7/10

Foden engineered a few promising chances for his teammates to score and ended the game with an assist to his name.

LW: Jeremy Doku – 7.5/10

He caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders but failed to register a goal.

ST: Erling Haaland – 9/10

Haaland was a constant threat up top and managed to score a brace to help Man City secure another important win this evening.
