Haaland Gets 9.5, Doku With 9 | Manchester City Players Rated In Dominant Win Vs Burnley

Manchester City entertained Burnley at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a quick start to the game as they scored the opening goal in the 12th minute due to an unfortunate own goal from Maxime Esteve. However, Jaidon Anthony equalised for the visitors in the 38th minute as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Matheus Nunes put Man City 2-1 ahead in the 61st minute before Maxime Esteve scored another own goal just four minutes later. Erling Haaland scored a quick-fire brace in the latter stages of the game as the Mancunian giants cruised to a dominant 5-1 win in front of their home fans.

Nunes cleared the danger when needed and did well to score after the hour mark.

He cleared his lines when he could, but failed to keep a clean sheet.

LB: Nico O’Reilly – 7/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
CDM: Nico Gonzalez – 7.5/10
Gonzalez anchored the midfield well and ran the show in the opponent’s half.
RW: Savio – 6.5/10
He made one good run with the ball, but there was no goal for him.
CM: Tijjani Reijnders – 7/10
Reijnders came back to defend when needed and was a constant menace in the final third.
CM: Phil Foden – 7/10
He created some decent chances for his teammates to find the back of the net.
LW: Jeremy Doku – 9/10
Doku was a constant menace in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
ST: Erling Haaland – 9.5/10
Haaland scored a brace late in the game and even managed to bag an assist. He deserves to be named the man of the match.
RW: Oscar Bobb – 6/10
His impact on the game was minimal.
