Haaland named Etihad Player of the Month for October | OneFootball

Erling Haaland has been voted your Etihad Player of the Month for October.

The City striker had yet another phenomenal month, scoring six goals in five appearances to see him earn the fan-voted award.

October started with a Haaland scoring a brace in a 2-2 draw with Monaco in the Champions League before a 1-0 victory at Brentford where he grabbed the only goal in a tight encounter.

After the international break, where incidentally he scored a hat-trick in Norway’s 5-0 win over Israel, he was back in stunning form for the Blues.

Everton came to the Etihad Stadium and two goals in five second-half minutes from the Norwegian saw us triumph 2-0.

Back in the Champions League, Haaland was on target again in a 2-0 win at Villarreal before a defeat at Aston Villa in what is only the second game this season when he hasn’t been on the scoresheet.

Haaland was nominated alongside Nico and Matheus Nunes, who have both been in outstanding form to help City to second in the Premier League and fourth in the Champions League table.

But it was an unstoppable Haaland who takes the award for last month.
