Habeeb Ogunneye

The 19-year-old scored his first senior goal after only six minutes as Newport County lost 1-2 to MK Dons.

The ball was played into the United academy product, who made no mistake, smashing the ball into the top corner.

He made one clearance, one blocked shot and one interception in the match.

Ogunneye won all three of his ground duels and also won one of his two aerial battles. He was quite tidy on the ball, completing 75% of his pass attempts.

The goal will surely add to the youngster’s confidence after his positive start to life in League Two.

Dan Gore

Gore got more valuable minutes under his best as he played 85 minutes of Rotherham United’s 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic.

He completed 79% of his passes with one being considered a key pass. He also had one shot on target that was saved by the Wigan keeper.

Gore was competitive in the air, winning both his aerial battles but could only manage to win one of his ground duels. Nonetheless, he will be delighted with the regular football he is getting at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Radek Vitek

The Czech keeper was minutes away from keeping another clean sheet for Bristol City but Derby County scored a later equaliser to make the score 1-1 on Friday evening.

Vitek had little to do in truth during the match but did make one outstanding acrobatic stop.

Sadly, Carlton Morris was on hand to tap in the equaliser. The United keeper had only one save and one high claim to make in a quiet evening.

He also won his only aerial duel but once again struggled with the ball at his feet, only completing four of his 18 long balls.

Ethan Wheatley

Wheatley was another loanee to have a memorable day as he scored his first senior goal.

The England youth international opened the scoring in the first minute of play as Northampton Town beat Exeter 2-0. He showed his goalscoring talent when finding the back of the net from the tightest of angles to give his side the lead.

He had two shots on target and also made 67% of his passes. Wheatley won two of his aerial duels but none of his ground battles.

Sonny Aljofree

Aljofree played the entire 90 minutes of Notts County’s 2-2 draw with Bromley.

The young centre back made three clearances in the match and two tackles.

He was once again effective in duels, winning two of his three ground battles and four of his aerial contests. Aljofree was less accurate with his passing, only completing 71% of his passes as he often went long.

Jack Moorhouse

The Irish midfielder played 57 minutes of Leyton Orient’s 1-4 defeat to Mansfield Town.

He made 90% of his passes and one of them was classified as a key pass in the match.

Moorhouse completed his only long ball in a positive passing exhibition but failed to win any of his ground or aerial duels in the physical League One.

Elyh Harrison

The United academy keeper made five saves in Shrewsbury Town’s 1-1 draw with Swindon Town.

Harrison’s contribution was huge as he helped keep his side in the game before they scored a late equaliser.

He also made one successful clearance in the match. Harrison’s distribution was less on point though as he only managed to complete six of his 23 long balls.

Unfortunately he could do little to stop Swindon’s heart-breaking last-gasp winner to give them a 2-1 victory.

Toby Collyer

Collyer played the final 10 minutes of West Bromwich Albion’s 1-1 draw with Portsmouth.

He played 10 passes, completing nine of them and lost his only duel in a quiet afternoon’s work.

The midfielder will soon be hoping to make his first competitive start for the Baggies in the near future.
