Hansi Flick kept his counsel on Dro Fernandez’s potential move to PSG. Speaking before Barcelona face Real Sociedad on Sunday, he said he would only discuss the matter once any transfer is official.

According to L'Équipe, all signs point to the 18-year-old leaving Catalonia for PSG, with the reigning European champions set to trigger his six million euro release clause.

The midfielder trained with the first team in pre-season and earned a few minutes during the campaign. He even started a Champions League match in October against Olympiakos.

Flick said coaches give young players confidence and help them grow, while recognising the influence of those around them. He asked reporters to revisit the question once any transfer is finalised.

He stressed that anyone who wants to play for Barcelona must be fully committed and live for the colours. Players unable to meet that standard, he added, are not wanted.
