Head Coach Hoyos and Rodrigo De Paul were named in the MLS Team of the Matchday for week nine of the 2026 regular season, presented by Audi, after Inter Miami’s 2-0 away win at Real Salt Lake on Wednesday night.
According to Inter Miami, Hoyos earned recognition in only his second match in charge, guiding the side to three points and moving them up to second in the Eastern Conference.

With the game goalless in the 82nd minute, from a corner Segovia found De Paul outside the box on the left, and the Argentine curled a long-range effort into the top-right corner.
The strike was his second of the regular season and capped a standout midfield display.
Both Hoyos and De Paul collect their first Team of the Matchday honours of the campaign.
