Hearts beat Falkirk 2-0 on Saturday night at the Falkirk Stadium to remain top of the Scottish Premiership.
Early on, Scott Bain parried a Lawrence Shankland strike. Cláudio Braga then opened the scoring in the second minute with a close-range header.
Bain kept The Bairns in it after the break, tipping over Braga's header (57.) and later saving from Shankland at the near post (80.) as Hearts pressed for a cushion.
The visitors found it after Stephen Kingsley's introduction (74.). Moments later he drove a left-footer from outside the box into the bottom corner (77.), with Oisin McEntee supplying a headed lay-off.
Hearts created the clearer chances, finishing with 13 attempts and five on target. The Bairns registered six efforts and worked the goalkeeper once.
Next, Hearts host Rangers. The Bairns visit Kilmarnock.
