Despite West Ham looking on course to be signing John Victor this week, it now appears Mads Hermansen is back in the frame.

As we have continuously reported, the Leicester City goalkeeper has always been the most likely to sign for the club this summer, in contrast to what has been the case the last few days.

A left-field bid for Victor was one that caught everyone by surprise, especially with talks progressing to almost full agreement, with the likes of Fabrizio Romano confirming a deal was close.

The club were in talks last night with Leicester as they look to get it over the line soon, with Kyle Macaulay pushing hard to get this completed.
