Daniel Farke has suggested that he could leave Leeds United if he is not convinced by the club's project.

Farke's current contract at Leeds expires in 2027 and talks over a new deal are anticipated for the summer.

The German led Leeds to promotion last season and has consolidated the club in thePremier League during the current campaign. Leeds are clear of relegation trouble heading into the final two games, with their top-flight status secured for another year.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's fixture with Brighton at Elland Road, Farke said he had 'fulfilled' his mission with the club.

Discussing his future, he said conversations were needed to determine the club's ambition, admitting he would not be content with an aim to only survive.

"Once I signed the contract three years ago, we spoke about the goals, what we want to achieve. I have to say, my mission is fulfilled and my job is done here, there is nothing to add anymore," Farke said at hispre-match press conference.

"All the boxes that we wanted to tick, are ticked. It is important that we are all on the same page and we will have to speak about new goals.

"To do the same again next year and just aim to stay up makes no sense to me. I have to be 100% convinced."
