For FC Barcelona, the Joan Gamper Trophy game is something special every year. A match dedicated to a very special individual, it is one that the club wants the full squad available for. Fortunately, a previously uncertain participant is now no longer seen as a doubt.

According to a recent update from Mundo Deportivo, 25-year-old Spanish forward Ferran Torres is back in training following his muscle overload issue. Moreover, he is no longer a doubt for the upcoming Joan Gamper Trophy match against Como.

He previously missed the last preseason tour game against Daegu FC, but he should be back in action soon. Thanks to his quality and consistency, he is a great back-up option to Robert Lewandowski and continues to push the veteran as well.

After a successful season last time around, Torres will be hoping to reach even greater heights this season. However, while his return is great news, there is also some less-than-ideal news at the club as well.

Inigo Martinez is expected to leave the club this summer, and he recently informed the dressing room of his departure. Moreover, MD reports that he did not train with the squad either and that pretty much confirms his departure.
