Manchester United players have seemingly made their stance clear behind the scenes over the prospective return of Jadon Sancho this summer.
Rumours of the winger resuming his Red Devils career have circulated in the last fortnight due to his substandard form at Chelsea, with some reports even suggesting the club would go as far as paying a £5 million fee to bypass their £25m obligation clause and send him back to Old Trafford upon the culmination of the term.
After making the move down South on deadline day last year, Sancho assisted goals in each of his first three Premier League appearances in blue. It then took 13 weeks before he contributed again, notching his maiden goal against Southampton and again in the subsequent 4-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Now, he has gone nine matches without returning anything, having last registered an assist against Crystal Palace on January 4.

It’s such lacklustre appearances that led to United fans conceding defeat that he’d be a success at the club, hence why none were fazed when he was left out at the start of the campaign, nor when he departed to a direct league rival.
In fact, even the United squad believed it was time for both parties to part ways when Sancho, 25, bid farewell to M16 in September.
A fresh report from Manchester Evening News this morning claims ‘they (United players) do not believe he is good enough’.
Samuel Luckhurst adds: “Influential figures in the United squad have no issue with Sancho’s personality but felt he was unable to cope with demands of playing for the club before he was exiled by former manager Erik ten Hag 18 months ago.”
Additionally, those in the dressing room would ‘major misgivings’ if it looked as though Sancho was to return to the club ahead of 2025/2026.
