Inter Milan are reportedly exploring a move for Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku.
Inter are aiming to improve their squad after narrowly missing out on the Serie A title last season.
The club has made Ademola Lookman their top priority this summer and have already submitted a €40 million bid to Atalanta.
However, if the deal for Lookman falls through, Nkunku is a viable alternative.
Nkunku has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after just one season in England.
Manchester United and Bayern Munich are among several clubs reportedly interested in signing the 27-year-old forward.
The former RB Leipzig star made 48 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last season, bagging 15 goals and five assists.
That tally includes his performances in the FIFA Club World Cup, where he helped Chelsea win the competition.
Nkunku is known for his speed, quick movement and sharp decision-making in tight areas. He is adept at beating defenders in one-on-one situations.
His strength allows him to hold up the ball well, while his acceleration makes him a constant threat in transition.
The Frenchman also has good vision and passing, often setting up goalscoring chances from deeper or wide areas.
If Inter fail to sign Lookman, they could turn to Chelsea to begin negotiations for Nkunku.
