Gianluigi Donnarumma is not in any hurry to leave PSG despite his contract standoff, with Inter Milan waiting in the wings.
Italian outlet FCInterNews report that the 26-year-old won’t hastily decide to leave the French capital. He could therefore depart on a free transfer next summer.
By now, the situation of Gianluigi Donnarumma at Paris Saint-Germain is well-known.
The Parisians have just made a big money signing goal in the form of Lucas Chevallier from Lille.
That looks like a clear statement of intent from PSG. Particularly considering that contract extension talks between the European champions and Donnarumma have stalled.
The 26-year-old former AC Milan keeper has rejected the offer of a new deal worth €8 million net per season plus €4 million in add-ons.
This is in line with the Parisians’ policy of focusing on younger players and not offering big contracts to older players.
Therefore, as things stand, Donnarumma is just one year away from the expiration of his contract.

According to FCInterNews, Donnarumma is not in any hurry to leave PSG this summer.
It’s not as though there isn’t any interest in the former AC Milan keeper’s signature.
For example, Manchester City could move for Donnarumma if Ederson leaves. Meanwhile, Manchester United are also interested in the 26-year-old as a replacement for Andre Onana.
Furthermore, Galatasaray are ready to make a big money offer for Donnarumma.
However, FCIN reports, Donnarumma could decide to sit tight. He may simply play for his chances at PSG this coming season – even after the €55 million signing of Lucas Chevalier.
In that case, FCIN anticipate, Inter would be interested in signing Donnarumma on a free transfer next summer.
