Jacuipense will stage the Copa do Brasil fifth phase second leg against Palmeiras at the Estádio do Café in Londrina, Paraná, after selling home advantage.
ESPN reports that Jacuipense will receive R$ 1.5 million for the switch, surrendering gate receipts but avoiding logistics costs for the fixture.
The Bahia club, based in Riachão do Jacuípe, cannot use Estádio Eliel Martins, Valfredão, which is undergoing refurbishment. In 2026 it has been hosting home matches at Pituaçu in Salvador.
Valfredão also fails to meet CBF criteria, with capacity of about five thousand, while the competition demands at least 10,000 seats.
The exact date for the Palmeiras second leg is yet to be set. The fifth phase ties are scheduled for the weeks of 22 April and 13 May.
