Jeff Shi steps down at Wolves, Nathan Shi takes interim charge

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Jeff Shi has stepped down as Wolves executive chairman after more than nine years, with Fosun employee Nathan Shi installed on an interim basis.
He has left the club but remains chairman and CEO of Fosun Sports Group, and the search for a permanent replacement is under way.
Shi said he took the role with humility and expressed gratitude for his time in the job. He said they had transformed the club into a global force, competing at the highest level.
He thanked Fosun and the board, praised the Molineux crowd, and pledged full support to the new management. He added that while his seat may change, his passion for the club would remain.
For Nathan Shi, this is his biggest role to date, taking charge during a challenging spell for the struggling Premier League club.
He spoke of pride in joining a club with deep roots in Wolverhampton, stressed collective effort across players, staff, supporters, the City Council and community, and said he is grateful for the board’s trust.
He said he aims to work closely with stakeholders to build a stronger future and help Wolves reach new heights, believing the club can move forward together with belief, pride, ambition and unity.
