Andrée Jeglertz says Grace Clinton and Rebecca Knaak could both be involved in City's WSL clash with West Ham United on Saturday.
Our Head Coach confirmed Clinton was managing a small injury ahead of the international break, with the midfielder then withdrawing from the England squad to continue her recovery.
Knaak, meanwhile, is yet to feature this season having picked up a meniscus injury in Germany's Euro 2025 semi-final against Spain in the summer.
She was included in City's matchday squad for our WSL win over London City Lionesses in September, but Jeglertz is confident that she and Clinton will both be available after a sustained period training with the squad.
"I think both Rebecca and Grace have been training fully now for the last week," he said.
"So we expect them to hopefully be able to participate in the game or at least be able to be part of the game on Saturday.
"It was a great week for them to get some more time."
However, Jeglertz said further assessments were needed to determine the extent of Naomi Layzell's injury picked up during the international break.
The young defender was brought off early in England Under-23s' clash with Portugal, and our Head Coach wouldn't provide a length of time on her recovery.
He added: "We are still assessing to see how she is and how long she’ll be out.
"Of course there’s disappointment and sadness for the injury but we don't know the grade of the injury or how serious it is.
"We need to see what happens in the coming days."

The Swede also provided an update on longer term absentees such as Lauren Hemp, Lily Murphy, Mary Fowler and Kerolin.
Both Hemp and Kerolin's most recent appearances came in our 5-1 WSL win over Tottenham Hotspur in September, while Lily Murphy has been ruled out since having shoulder surgery following an injury in our opener against Chelsea.
Fowler, meanwhile, is yet to feature this season having ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament in April 2025.
But the boss confirmed that all four were progressing well and following their respective recovery plans to the letter.
"Lauren was part of the session today a little bit. Lily has been part a little bit and Kerolin and Mary are still doing their own stuff.
"Everybody is following the plan and hopefully some of them will be back sooner.
"But they’re definitely working hard to get back as quickly as possible."
