Former Liverpool and Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe, 30, has been charged with actual bodily harm over an alleged assault.

According to The Sun, a Met Police spokesperson said the charge relates to an assault alleged to have taken place on Sunday 14 December 2025. He was arrested at Luton Airport on Friday 30 January and taken into custody.

Ibe, from Chislehurst in south-east London, has been released on bail and is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Friday six March.

The right winger began his senior career at Wycombe Wanderers in 2011, making seven appearances. He joined Liverpool in 2012 and played 41 times for the Reds.

He had loan spells at Birmingham City and Derby County, before signing for AFC Bournemouth in 2016. His stint with the Cherries brought 78 appearances.

He later featured for Derby County, Hayes & Yeading United and Hungerford Town. He currently plays for Lokomotiv Sofia in Bulgaria.

Ibe has represented England at youth level up to the under-21s, making 15 appearances.
