Jordon Ibe charged with actual bodily harm over alleged assault

Jordon Ibe, the former Liverpool and Bournemouth winger, has been charged with actual bodily harm over an alleged assault.
The Sun reports that a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said the charge relates to an incident alleged to have taken place on Sunday 14 December 2025. The spokesperson added that Ibe was arrested at Luton Airport on Friday 30 January and taken into custody.
Ibe, from Chislehurst in south-east London, has been released on bail. He is scheduled to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Friday 6 March.
Ibe began his senior career with Wycombe Wanderers in 2011, making seven appearances, before joining Liverpool in 2012. He played 41 times for the club and had loans with Birmingham City and Derby County.
He signed for AFC Bournemouth in 2016 and made 78 appearances for the Cherries. Subsequent spells included Derby County, Hayes & Yeading United, and Hungerford Town, and he now plays for Lokomotiv Sofia in Bulgaria.
Ibe represented England at youth level up to under-21, making 15 appearances.
